"Fear" dropped right in the middle of more shit and songs such as Welcome To the Terrordome wore that pain and anger as a badge. The entire album for that matter carried that pain and rage with it. Every song struck a cord that was in tune with the type of things we wanted to express. Nothing has ever sounded like it before or since, it changed the soundscape of the culture forever. I don't know what's in the water out on Long Island, but them cats definitely were changing the game in the late 80's and early 90's...PE, De La, EPMD, Rakim, Biz, JVC, etc. Nations is one of the best pieces of music ever recorded, bar none.
